To Enhance Diagnostic and Rehabilitation Skills: Physical Therapy Students at Al-Subtain University Conclude Intensive Clinical Training at the Turkish HospitalAs part of its academic vision aimed at linking medical education with direct clinical application, the College of Medical Rehabilitation at Al-Sibtain (PBUH) International University concluded the field clinical training program for third-stage students (Sixth Semester - Semester 6) of the Physical Therapy program, which was hosted by the Medical Rehabilitation Department at the Turkish Hospital.Dr. Rana Ali Baloq and Dr. Mohsen, supervisors of the training program, clarified that this clinical camp, which extended over four months, achieved advanced levels in empowering students and developing their core skills. Students are now able to accurately diagnose and clinically evaluate medical cases (Clinical Evaluation & Diagnosis).The supervisors added that the main objective of the training at the Turkish Hospital focused on teaching students the fundamentals of the specialty and how to professionally deal with patients in various cases, whether Musculoskeletal Cases, Neurological Cases, or Sports Injuries. 

The training included a thorough examination of patients, followed by developing a comprehensive rehabilitation program and regularly monitoring the progress of cases.The training was not limited to the clinical practical aspect only, but also included an academic research dimension. In the final hours of the program, students were required to present scientific research and clinical reviews (Scientific Presentations) to their peers, in line with the real medical cases they followed within the hospital, to ensure keeping pace with the latest scientific developments.For their part, the trainee students expressed the great scientific value of this training. One trainee described the experience as "very rich and diverse due to the variety and number of cases presented, both musculoskeletal and neurological," stressing that this field exposure contributed significantly to reinforcing his passion for choosing the Physical Therapy specialty and building a clear vision for his future professional career as a future medical rehabilitation specialist.
