Professor Habib Shuhaib Ahmed Al-Hassani



Professor of Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery) and a faculty member at the College of Medicine, University of Kufa.

He currently holds several academic and administrative positions, including:

  • Assistant Director of the Medical Education Division.
  • Director of the Personal and Professional Development Program.
  • Director of the International Relations Unit at the College of Medicine, University of Kufa.
  • Head of the Audiology and Speech Therapy Unit at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Teaching Hospital, Najaf, Iraq.

Education and Professional Training

Professor Al-Hassani obtained his Doctor of Medicine (MBChB) degree from the University of Kufa. He subsequently completed his specialist training in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery through the Iraqi Board for Medical Specializations (FIBMS).

He further pursued subspecialty training in Audiology, Vestibular Medicine, and Speech and Language Disorders, and has authored numerous scientific publications in these fields.
